Bio

Marble was the assistant athletic director for Salt Lake Community College from 2016 to 2020. Before that, he served as an assistant coach for the esteemed Salt Lake Community College men's basketball program.

As a basketball assistant at SLCC, Marble helped lead the Bruins to two NJCAA national titles in 2009 and 2016 and three appearances in the national title game, 2008, 2009 and 2016. He also helped lead SLCC to five Region 18 championships, along with five NJCAA National Tournament appearances. The Bruins went 318-76 in his time coaching, including a mark of 16-3 in NJCAA national tournament games.

Marble recruited and coached several All-Americans, including NJCAA Player of the Year award winner D.J. Wright and NJCAA National Tournament MVP Connor Toolson.

Marble was a highly-regarded academic adviser for SLCC student-athletes, instructor of the "Know Greater Heroes" class, manager of the Lifetime Activities Center and assistant athletic director. In that role, Marble oversaw the program's relationship with the Salt Lake City Stars, an NBA G-League team that plays their games at SLCC’s Taylorsville Campus.

Marble began his coaching career at the University of Utah under late coach Lynn Archibald. He served the Utes from 1986-1989. Marble also earned an undergraduate degree from Utah and an M.S. in management and leadership from Western Governors University.

When not working with the T-Birds, Marble and his wife, Wendy, enjoy spending time with family.
