Bio

Coach Ben McArthur is going into his 10th year as a college head coach in 2023. His NJCAA overall record is 43-20-5 including a 14-3-2 mark in 2022. McArthur has coached two All-Americans, two region freshmen of the year, and a defender of the year since starting Casper College Men's Soccer in 2020. 

Coach McArthur was an assistant coach at Waldorf University in Forest City, Iowa, for two years before becoming a head coach. He played collegiate soccer from 2003-2008 at DII NCAA Davis and Elkins College in Elkins, West Virginia. During his senior year, the Senators went 17-5 and ranked as high as No. 12 in the nation. Coach McArthur has a United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Diploma and a Level II Goalkeeper Diploma and will pursue his Premier Diploma in 2020. McArthur has an MBA from Columbia Southern University.

McArthur grew up in Elkins, West Virginia, and was an all-state player at Elkins High School. He enjoys camping, hiking, snowboarding, hunting, and enjoying all that Wyoming has to offer. He is married to Janelle, and they have seven children, five boys and two girls; Bendigo, Mateo, Jahzio, Renzo, Kaleo, Ocean, and Oriah.
